review 1: Series Review: Happy Cafe is a sweet and funny manga that is a great light read.The characters are hilarious (often times even the bad guys) and the plot is never boring despite its slower pace. The romance is a slowly developing relationship that is refreshing in a overfilled market of instalove trends. The ending was kinda rushed but cute in its own way. I recommend this manga to those who are looking for a light read.
review 2: This is a cute series that I enjoy reading. In this volume we meet Ichiro's sister (Ah brother). He is cute but for some reason he does not like Uru. I love how all of Ichiro's family has the same expression (None). Also Uru goes to Shindo apartment and there ends up being a blackout. How do these two make it through the blackout. ... more Plus Shindo ends up getting sick. What happens to the cafe while he is sick. Can Ichiro and Uru keep the cafe open. There is also a chapter in this volume about Mitsuka and Suzuki who works for the family. In this chapter it shows how they first meet and when they where younger. There is an extra at the end about a little girl that lost her mother and is staying with a novelist. She wants to meet her father. I liked this little extra. less
