review 1: Coffee table books: who buys them? I ask you. I got this moderately amusing coffee table book from the library, and, as I suspected when I leafed through the soon-to-be-remaindered copies at the local book emporium, it is never more moderately amusing than its moderately amusing title, except maybe for the "Where's Waldo at an Orgy" two-page spread (dirty!), which is, at the very least, fitfully amusing.
review 2: Really wanted to like this. The first few pages makes it come across as the sex-ed equivalent of America: the Book, and it elicited quite a few chuckles early on. But quickly the humor seems to taper off, becoming more about "random silliness" speckled with porn/curses. America: the Book had incisive commentary on society and a fair amount of fact ... moremixed in with its lies and jokes. The Book of Sexy Sex quickly gives way to just random crap they threw at the page, it seems like. Disappointing, I gave up about 60 or so pages in. less
