review 1: I love this book. I've read a lot or reviews saying that they weren't really sure to give this book a chance because of the cover. I've got to say that I really do like the cover. It's actually what got my attention in the first place. And something I love from it is that it has exactly seven arrows. I'd like think that it has to do with the book and the title. Especially because Blythe and Luke are at opposite corners. It's as if it was a drawing about what it took for them to be together. Seven clues. There's so much I can say about this book, but I think the reason why I love it so much is that I connected with Blythe. I'm not a girl on the verge of being a snob (Blythe wasn't really a snob but she was kind of close to it, even though she didn't pride herself of her mone... morey), neither do I have really nice clothes, or the latest phone. I'm a good student, that much I can say. I try my best and I'm rarely disappointed with the results, just like her. But, I don't have all my life planned out and neither do I obsess that much about it. There are so many ways Blythe and I are different but I connected with her, which makes it even more special. Sometimes I think like her, sometimes I'd do the same as her but sometimes I'd do exactly the opposite.I guess we are alike and different at the same time. And fact that I could relate to her in some ways was really touching. Most of the reviews, if not all, of this book have three or more stars. Most of them have more. I find it funny that some really well-know books have really negative reviews, while this book, which is not really popular, has positive and amazing reviews.
review 2: This is a very good book if what you're looking for is some cute flirty romance, with a cute flawlessly flawed guy and sprinkled with teen angst. It was actually a great read for a hideous cover. It was easy, bubbly and charming, quick and not hateful at all. Just not THE book. it was cute, it was what I intended it to be: a book you can easily finish in a sit and be happy with its "happy beginning" as Blythe would call it. It carries a good message, i guess? I don't know, it's just not a book I'd lose sleep for or anything, but seriously, if you want some chick-lit, this will more than do it for you. less
