review 1: It was like a teen novel.This novel I got to know from one of my goodsread friend with whom I asked to suggest some rom com novel. This was good and some what funny but not like Janet evanovich novels( read plum series) .The girl named blythe here is going to the drastic changes because of her over ambitious father to become superintendent, due to which she need to change her school. In the new school she is already been infamous due to her some booger pic circulated there. So basically it's a story of girl to get accepted in her new environment for that she do things,some of her tricks (or revenge) went good and some of them didn't. In all of this she met her senior who is a thin framed, spectacles wearing and cute a guy. who somewhat help her to get accepted in such envi... moreronment. In that process they fell in love. But Finally in the end, after all the dramas, everything went alright. This story reminds me of my school days where I have to constantly change my school every 5yrs as my dad was in airforce. so 1st few months was like this everywhere(though I don't use to have any history in any of my new schools like blythe)
review 2: You may be wondering why I gave this book three stars. So am I. I read this book in the first place because Kristin Walker did a terrific job with A Match Made in High School (seriously, it was a very clever and unexpected YA gem). 7 Clues to Winning You is not as good as A Match Made in High School (which executed stereotype manipulation supremely), it is predictable and not really anything new, but I had to give this book three stars because it is (intentionally) hilarious. Seriously, Kristin Walker is so funny I had to restrain myself from shrieking of laughter in public. If you want some good humor, this book is worth a shot. less
