review 1: Incredible book about addiction and best friends relying on each other through thick and thin to an unhealthy point.Ava is the manager of the band Finding Nolan, which is lead by her best friend Blaise Nolan. Nolan and Ava have been best friends since they were 9 years old are both battling demons from their childhood.Due to Blaise trying to hide his addiction from everyone but Ava and Royce, a bandmate, Ava and Blaise pretend to take their relationship to the next level in order for Blaise to attempt to get clean. Will Blaise be able to stay clean for Ava or will the demons that both of them face destroy any attempt at a healthy relationship?I absolutely loved this book and I can't wait for the next one to come out!!
review 2: Two f*ucked up peas in a broken p... moreod...I came across this book by accident, it was buried innocently in the middle of an anthology. I had no clue that it was a diamond in the rough, hiding something beautiful inside. I was drawn by the promise of feeding my rockstar addiction, unaware of what was waiting for me, a rockstar and his addiction. Addictions are usually secrets, hidden from loved ones and friends, buried in denial. But what happens when the secrets are shared, but still hidden? What happens when you are so busy saving others that you lose yourself? What happens when what you are hiding rises up and takes over? When is it time to give up? Blaise & Ava have been best friends since they were 8 years old. They have always been there for each other, through good times and bad. Can their love survive when the good is gone and there's only bad left over? I was totally sucked in to this book, staying up all night, glued to my kindle. I am most definitely hooked on this series, Finding Nolan being my drug of choice and K.S. Thomas my new dealer. less
