review 1: It was just OK for me, but probably more enjoyable for a young adult, which I am not. I enjoy the YA genre because it takes me back in time. In this case, I didn't relate to the character, or any of them really. A lot of the things the characters said and/or did, really didn't make sense to me. I didn't like the ending either, it was abrupt and there was something left unresolved. I liked that it was unpredictable in that I never knew for certain who Favor would ultimately end up with, and that kept me reading. It was fast paced and easy to read.
review 2: I don't often read contemporaries, so when I liked - more than just liked, actually - Finding Favor, it came as a surprise. Finding Favor is beautifully written, and the characters are extremely well do
... morene. I especially loved the relationships between the characters, between Favor and each of the Browns. It doesn't lag, which is usually my biggest problem with contemporaries, isn't overly dramatic, which is usually my second problem, and doesn't have a whiny Mary-Jane MC, usually my third problem. (Lots of problems:) A short, cute, sweet read I'd definitely recommend to anyone. less
