review 1: I enjoyed this book! Lucy has had a rough life, she never knew her father, her mom checked out on her and told her men were no good and only wanted one thing and were only good for one thing. She fell in love with someone who turned out to be a monster. She finally gets away from him to start a new life in New York. Can Lucy put her past behind her and move on to happily ever after? I loved the little bit of suspense and mystery that this book had. There were twists that I didn't see coming
review 2: I give this book 3.5 Stars. I enjoyed this book, the compassion Knox had towards Lucy, her strength & bravery. It's an easy read, its sexy, there's laughter, and a bit of angst. The only criticism I have is that I wish the characters / storyline were developed... more more in depth. It went thru things too quickly on its own without adding in the strong subject matter. It's just under 200 pages, I think with another 100-200 pages I easily have given it 5 Stars. less
