review 1: I found the "rewinding" concept a tad ridiculous. Or perhaps it wasn't the concept but the word itself. Having seizures or blacking out due to PTSD and remembering a sweet moment with her Dad isn't ridiculous but labeling it made it trite. The book had all the makings of a wonderful story but fell flat in delivery. There were many moments that should have moved me but I remained detached. Also too many coincidences (red and blue motorcycles) and gimmicky twists made it seem as though the author was trying too hard. Reaching for that gut-wrenching, angsty, love story and not quite making it.
review 2: It's beenabout a year since Sienna's father died in a car accident, which she was also involved in. now going back to their summer house feels weird without him th
... moreere. His death is constantly playing on her mind. Her mom won't talk about it and Sienna seems lost.During her stay she meets Austin, a perfect distraction for her troubled mind. He's handsome, sweet and loyal, though it's clear there are some things from his past he doesn't want to talk about. It has all the element for a perfect summer romance, except Sienna technically has a boyfriend. Even though Sienna isn't completly sure about their current status, she still lets Austin persue her. Austin knows about the boyfriend, but is willing to fight for her. It's pretty clear from the beginning that it's more than a summer fling between them. Sienna will need to make a decision about Austin and her boyfriend. While her mom is clearly rooting for theboyfriend, things aren't that clear cut.Honestly Sienna wasn't my favourite character. I don't deal well with cheating and I believe that if she wanted to take things further with Austin, she should have dumped her boyfriend first. They have an on-off relationship, so the fear of when things might go wrong with Austin, she couldn't go back is ungrounded. Her boyfriend would take her back immediately. I know that isn't completely fair either, but that's just the way it is. Now it seems she's just stringing Austin along. He's her escape fromreality, but she doesn't think about the consequences.Austin on the other hand I liked a lot. At times he can be very cheesy, but he's genuine and real. I do not applaud him for going after someone who'salready in a relationship, even if that guy is a jerk. He should have held back more with Sienna in the beginning, let her make that decision before giving his all. His character seems a bit more complex. He's this nice young guy, but there are certain parts of his life he doesn't like to talkabout. It seems he keeps people at a certain distance, and never lets them see all of him.Rewind To You is an okay book. I liked the complexity of the characters and the progress they've made throughout the story. Some of their decissions I had trouble with and I'm still not sure if Sienna and Austin belong together. So my feelings are mixed. There are a lot of good elements, but also some lesser elements. I recommend you read it and make up your mind yourself.*I received a copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review* less

Fun summer read. Nothing outstanding, but if you just want a nice romance...this will do.
