review 1: This was surprisingly good. The focus is on the relationship between Trent and Carrie who fall for each other after marrying for reasons other than love. They click almost instantly as people. They make each other laugh, they do not take themselves seriously but both have trust issues that they resolve after some angst and growing pains. Part of a series set in a New York high profile high rise, the series thing the whole mysterious death and blackmail attempts feels applied on. As a reader I wanted more of atrent and Carrie less blackmail and police investigation.
review 2: It's funny that the thing I loved most about this book I also hated. It's really short, so you can read it in one sitting and be really happy. It's a cute love story and I definitely liked ... moreit. Let's just say it's also a little rushed. A lot more time could have been spent in developing the characters and story. Everything seemed to happen so fast that it was hard to see any actual development and as a result the characters seemed a little flat. less
