review 1: Wasn't for me. I don't think it was bored or poorly written but I didn't really understand that this book was mainly intended to be a comedy. I like comedy in books, but not when that seems to be all they're trying to be about. I wouldn't say I don't recommend this book, but if you're going in expecting action and a dark story (which I may be the fool for thinking that in the first place) then you may want to pass on it. But if you're into the comedy then you will probably enjoy it more than I did.
review 2: I've been wanting to read Corpse Rat King for some time now, and I was not disappointed when I finally found a copy. From start to finish it was entertaining, well written and the pace didn't lull or go so fast that it was incomprehensible. I would reco... moremmend it for fans of Terry Pratchett and Chistopher Moore. And I'm also very, very happy that Corpse Rat King has a sequel, which I will hope to read in the near future. less
