review 1: OMG I JUST FINISHED. I AM SCREECHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS ONLY GOING TO BE A TWO BOOK SERIES, SO THIS FREAKING CLIFF HANGER IS KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ADAM DERIS CAN JUST MARRY ME RIGHT NOW AND FOR ONCE I ACTUALLY LIKE THE GIRL CHARACTER. MEGAN IS SUPER COOL. AND THIS WHOLE SERIES IS TEARING MY WORLD DOWN. I NEED HTE NEXT ONE. THIS WAS SUCH A PERFECT BOOK, SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRST. FEELS HAVE ME LIKE CRYING RIGHT NOW. I NEED THE NEXT ONE RIGHT NOW.
review 2: I honestly thought this book was amazing! Half way through the first chapter I had already started fan girling... And just so you know I do have a Life... I loved how Adam was so protective of Meg.. I also loved how Leigh(the author) added in the drama of the possible Adam-losing-meg-to-hi... mores-own-really-sexy-brother-triangle-thingy. I loved that to no end. It always kept me guessing and I was so sad when they all almost died in the the last chapter "The coming of the Fifth" or something along those lines... I was crying when it was saying how they all died except Megan, all killed by their own stupid elements there some backfire for ya ain't it... But I crying by the time is it read Aine was devoured by the roots coming out of the Earth. It was just to sad. But i applaud Leigh Fallon for the excellent writing even though the story line was predictable because it is so common now in this time era. But she gave it her own twist and being a writer myself i say she has good talent and can't wait to read some more of her books! less
