review 1: Hmmm, I really liked this book but I'm not sure that it made me feel the way the author would've intended. Leith is a boxer who after an opponent uses an illegal move on him during a fight, wakes from a coma to find he has lost the last three years worth of memories. This includes all knowledge of his boyfriend Zach. When Zach is introduced to Leith, it is as his best friend and nothing more, the doctors deciding that Leith shouldn't be bombarded with too much information too quick. Despite having no recollection of Zach (and thinking himself to be straight), Leiths confusion is further confounded by the fact that he finds himself increasingly attracted to his 'best friend'. The story tells of the anger and fear from both sides as they try to get back to what they once we... morere, both struggling with their loss. Like I said, I enjoyed the story but I felt like I was under a cloud and was sad for the two MC's. Thankfully there is an HEA here which turns it around at the last minute. A very different type of book from Smoky Mountain Dreams and Training Season.
review 2: Oh hell yeah! This was a great book. The plot was awesome, the angst was off the charts and the sex was HOT! I could not get enough of Leith and Zach. I loved Zach from the beginning. I liked the video blog entries and oh Zach he was just in so much pain and yet he was so grateful that Leith was alive. It all came together wonderfully. I know snow people got annoyed with the family and friends not telling Leith the truth about Zach but I was enjoying this book so much that it didn't bug me. I highly recommend this one! less
