review 1: Enjoyable story and characters, some suspense but not an overpowering amount. Ric has been accused of murder and faked his own death to get away, he returns 3 yrs later to try to find the real murderer and to get his life back. He wants to go back to writing songs and performing. He meets Caz, an artist who restores old rocking horses and builds her own. She agrees to help him find the real murderer.
review 2: This book has its entertaining moments. However, as a mystery it failed. I figured out who the killer was less than twenty percent into the book. I felt that it was too obvious. This book needed to be fleshed out a bit better. The author also seems to assume that the readers are familiar with the rocking horse industry and there is some confusion cau... moresed by referring to the horses by brand names. The confusion does lurch the reader out of the story and disrupts the flow. less
