review 1: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERSVery hot introduction to a new series! I must be the only one on the planet who didn't realize this was LIZ, Hanna's twin sister from the New Hope series. I'm slow but I finally caught on & now I'm super excited about this series! Sam is not just down in the dumps - his family & friends are worried about his attitude lately. Liz had adored Sam for years, threw herself at him for the first time when she was only 17 - giving him a big reason to turn her away - and continues to offer up her body for his enjoyment. This time he needs the distraction & when he says all he can offer is to tie her up, make her come & walk away, Liz is a smart girl & smiles at the challenge! This "one night only" sexual connection is intense - Sam uses his tie to bind her hands... more while he makes a snack out of her, super hot! Liz begs her heart to stay unattached but this isn't just a little crush for her. And a girl can get easily confused when Sam keeps saying, "You're mine!"....but just for tonight. Come on Sam! You can almost hear the record scratch to a complete stop when Liz sees Sam with another woman, a woman who is obviously going to screw with Sam's life & his master plan but he seems to be willing to stand by her. There is only one downfall in this book - Sam's nickname for Liz came about the night when she was underage & drunk & threw herself at him. So he calls her Rowdy. Not into that name at all. Otherwise I'm anxious to read the next book & see how the tables are turned years later when Sam has to adore Liz from afar & he sees how it feels!
review 2: OH WOW!!! This is Something Wild alright and is the perfect title for Sam and Liz…. This is an amazingly H-O-T prequel to a new series called Reckless and Real, based in the familiar town of New Hope and are characters we know and love. I love this story and can’t wait to get my hands on Something Reckless!!! I love Lexi Ryan and this story is definitely the beginning of something awesome! less
