review 1: This book took me 200 pages to get into because it took so much to lead up to where the story takes off, but once i got to the true plot of the book it was amazing. This is a good sized book and once it got good i honestly flew through the pages. This book is super creepy and perfect for fall/halloween time. Libba Bray has an amazing way with words that just gets under your skin and makes it crawl. She is quickly becoming a favorite author.
review 2: I did not want to like this book, but I loved it. It is a very scary and creepy book. It even got to me. The writing was fabulous. I think this might be one of the better written YA books I have read. The author had some great twists. I loved the character development. You hate the main character at the begi... morenning, but love her in the end. Can't wait to read the next book. This writer is on the top of my list! Very well done. less
