review 1: It took a great effort for my part to finish this book... the good thing was that it only grew better... but taking into consideration where it started... uff. 1. 0* it was unbearable but the last couple of pages."First story by Sarah Mlynowski: slow, boring and predictable. 0* It was a suffering to be read. I would love to see something twisted at the end, though... Let's say the girl going to her mom for a little snack."2. 3** It was OK, it deserves to be read, but that's all."I don't like your girlfriend: I felt awkward reading this. It was like reading Kerstin Gier's Gwenny all over again.... I saw the outcoming with the guy from miles away... I would love a twist like Kathleen had actually made a spell over him to cure him from cancer or something like that, so he end... moreed dying xD.... I'm not gross, but I would like to read short stories that amused me.... not stories I've already heard about"3. 4** "Maureen Johnson's : That is what I was talking about! Telling me something new, something with some details I couldn't foresee. I liked Charlotte, I felt her as a believable person. The little french town also felt true. For me it's 8\10."4. "House of mirrors: I loved it. Very interesting and told in a delicious way. I only wish it had a couple more paragraphs."5. Libba Bray's: this writer is just in another league. Is so easy to be read, so fun... I would like to read this again, but as a full 500 pages book. Why only an overall 3**? Well, since I started reading books... when I was about ten, I don't like to suffer when I read. Also, I found that so e of the stories start very slow, and then cut short more interesting parts.
review 2: 3.5 starsOkay, let's just jump right in. We'll obviously start from the beginning, with the first story Crusin'.Crusin' - Sarah Mlynowski: Throughout the whole story I was interested, and excited to see what would happen, and the twist at the ending was pretty cool. Overall stars: 3I Don't Like Your Girlfriend - Claudia Gray: It started off pretty good and it seemed okay, but the ending was kinda stupid. Overall Stars: 2 Law of Suspects - Maureen Johnson: This was one of my favorite ones, it was actually a little creepy and the idea was unique. Overall stars: 5Mirror House - Cassandra Clare: This one was okay, I honestly expected more from Cassandra, it was a bit predictable, and not one of my favorites but, there were some good things about it. Overall Stars: 3Nowhere Is Safe - Libba Bray: This one is my other favorite, it too was creepy, and I liked the idea. The twist though was little predictable, but the ending, I think, made up for it.Overall Stars: 4.5 less
