review 1: Hannah is a witch and she talks to dead relatives on full moons in the woods, this is how she meets Caleb, a wolf shape shifter, when he warns her away from the woods since shape shifters have been disappearing. The odd thing is that both Hannah and Caleb feel a strong pull towards one another that neither can explain. As Hannah tries to find out why she is attracted to Caleb, she begins to find information to help him locate the missing shape shifters. Can Caleb help Hannah when she digs too deep? Will they be willing to face their fears for love? A great start to the Crane curse series.

My ReviewAs with many PNRs, Hannah and Caleb have an insta-love and attraction, which has its moments. I think the story overall suffers from a bit of a generic feel to it. There’s nothing to distinguish it from any one of the many “fated mates” type of stories, the love scenes are sexy but a bit bland and while I can easily see there being more books in this series, I struggle to even remember details of the other alphas. The Bottom Line (2.5 stars)If you’re into PNRs you may enjoy it - it wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t particularly memorable. less
