review 1: This is #15 in the Alexandra Cooper series. Alex is an Assistant DA in New York's SVU unit. She and her partners, Mike and Mercer deal with the most horrible murders and sex crimes. This story solves not only the recent murder of a street person, but also a cold murder from many years ago. Love these characters. The only problem I have is that for a very smart lady, Alex does make some questionable decisions, putting herself in unnecessary danger. Makes a good story, though.
review 2: I think I may be coming to the end of my interest in this series. The formula is the same. Everything you ever wanted to know about Central Park this time. The love life of Coop is once again the focus, and this time the relationship between Mike and Alexandra moves closer ... moreand I am not sure I want to watch that to the end. There were a lot of unanswered questions in this story. At least for me, there were characters and threads that were left unexplained, but I guess that is true of life. There may be a couple of more that I have not read, but I will let them rest unread for now. less
