review 1: I absolutely loved this book. I decided last minute to give it a try because it sounded different than what I usually read. I am glad I decided to try it because I really enjoyed the storyline. I don't think I have ever read a fictional book about any indian tribes, so I found this very interesting. I look forward to reading her other books with the same theme. If you like suspense, mystery, and romance this book has it all and I would highly recommend it.
review 2: So why 2 stars when I didn't finish? The writing itself was good for the most part, and the background story for Olivia was interesting. However, the religious aspects were too heavy-handed (And I'm a Christian) and the romance elements were happening too quickly. I think I get what the author was a
... moreiming for, or at least her target audience, but for anyone else, it's overdone and, as others have mentioned, "preachy". I might try to pick it up and finish it another time, but at this point, it was tough to get through. less

I read it but it was disjointed and repetitive. The major characters needed more development.

Not my thing. I thought it was predictable and corny.
