review 1: This book has the most pointless dialogue. A lot of it is the same conversation about how crazy Ava is even though she is clearly not crazy. It shows the book in the point of views of different characters who always seem to think about the same thing. It is so repetitive. I only gave it 2 stars because the last 100 pages were alright. I've never read any of her other books, but I'll assume that they're better because she is a popular author with many novels.
review 2: I have read and enjoyed a couple other books by Jackson. However, this book was painful. The redundancy alone was enough to make me want to stop reading within the first few chapters. I kept reading, hoping it would get better, but it really didn't. The only part that kept me holding on until the
... moreend (besides my stubbornness and unwillingness to stop halfway through) was my interest in finding out what happened to Noah. I wouldn't recommend this book...unless you're having insomnia issues, which this will more than likely help by page 17. :) less

Kind of confusing at times, but still good. The ending was unexpected in some ways.

It was a good book, not my cup of tea but I wanted to try something new.

Could have cut it down by a quarter and eliminated the repetitions.
