review 1: This was an anthology containing four Christmas novellas by Lisa Jackson, Mary Burton, Mary Carter, and Cathy Lamb. Although familiar with Lisa Jackson, I'd never read any of the other three authors. I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed these stories as much as I did. They were perfect after reading an intense thriller, and they got me in the mood for the holidays. All four were based, obviously, on the first Christmas that the main characters shared together. Predictable, but certainly entertaining and feel good Christmas reading!
review 2: This book is made up of 4 stories by 4 authors. Each story was easy to read and put a smile on my face. The theme of first loves, first Christmases was easy to relate to and brought back memories. The humor in "C... morehristmas in Montana" (mom & aunt posing for naked apron shots) had me laughing & my family asking why. By the end of the book, I was in the holiday spirit.Note: I received a copy of this book from the publisher, Kensington Books, for my honest review/opinion. less
