Inside Out
review 1: Being Me begins right where If I Were You leaves off.In this installment, Sara dives deeper into the disappearance of Rebecca. Along with the help from Chris and his contacts, more clues begin to surface. Many secrets are revealed and a whopper of a plot twist brings a conclusion to the mystery of Rebecca. Although, I’m not so sure we have reached the end just yet. I think there is still so much more to discover where she is concerned. And what about Ella? Where is she? Will answers we learned of Rebecca’s disappearance somehow lead us to Ella? Being Me was full of push and pull between Sara and Chris. It is obvious that they deeply love each other, but neither one of them is ready to give their complete trust to the other. It seems to be a constant struggle…Stay or... more leave? Love or Let Go? Deal or Give Up?Sara’s ex monster, Michael shows up and throws a wrench in the progress that Sara and Chris have been making in their relationship. Then when tragedy strikes, both Sara and Chris are tested again and Chris fails miserably. They both need to either fully overcome the heartache and darkness of their pasts or find a way to manage it together if a future with each other is what they both truly want.Dare I say that Mark intrigues me more and more with each scene he appears? I always seem to gravitate towards the alpha-dominate-demanding-controlling-bad boy of a story. Throw Ryan into the mix and I’m wiping drool from my chin! I hope we are treated to a bit of this duo in upcoming installments.Mystery, romance, angst, heartache...this series has many layers. I highly recommend!
