review 1: Wicked Werewolf Passion, Book Three of "Werewolf Society" by Lisa Renee Jones.This was a quick read of about 58 pages, but did not lack in story, romance or action.Our heroine, Carmen, is a feisty forthright she-wolf that has been trained to protect herself in dire situations.Our hero,Shi, is a hot, handsome Alpha-were,and Carmen's guard and trainer. He is there to protect Carmen from the Rebels. Carmen is very attracted to Shi and tries seducing him time and time again. However, Shi has demons in his past and does not want to admit there is attraction between the two of them.Can't wait for the next exciting issue.
review 2: This is the second story that I’ve read in The Werewolf Society series. It is approximately 55 pages, but Lisa has a way of writing the... morese shorter stories with enough detail that I haven’t felt like she leaves anything out. I will definitely be going back to read the rest of this series.Shi was a member of the Royal Guard hired to be her bodyguard. He taught her to fight well enough to defend herself. He has kept his love for Carmen to himself until that one night… Carmen is the only child of a high ranking member of the council who is almost the age of becoming a woman finding her mate. She is tired of keeping her feelings for Shi to herself and finally decides to tell him what she feels never expecting the results that follow.The one time they decided to go with their feeling for one another, they were caught by her father and separated.Shi has been a mercenary for many years and has not laid eyes on her since that night. He has been hired to kidnap Carmen in order to protect her. He has been sent into hiding after learning that The Society is hunting him because he has been accused of being a traitor. Can he protect Carmen and keep them both safe without letting his feeling get in the way? less
