review 1: Very quick read, but also short. Steamy will have to read the following ones to see what happens. Seven has had a hard life and is out of work. She responds to an email she missed only to find out they want to hired her for a pretend girlfriend. She accepts the job but is drawn to the son Zane. The boss is gay but can not let the public know. He sends her to Preasure Extraordinaire to seek sexual release only to be drawn to the owner and to find out Zane is one of her escorts. Will have to read next book to see what happens.
review 2: Lindsay has a moniker from the press - "The Iron Hand" no kidding. She was kidnapped with her sister Taylor and smacked the kidnapper across the face, pushing her head into a hook and killing her. Right away I realized there is so
... moreme humor here. Lindsay has a running commentary that is quite humorous. If she was more believable as a character, I would have rated this higher. She is desperate for a job and interviews with a media mogul, Michael Hawkins. He is gorgeous and she is nearly drooling, until he tells her he is gay and wants her as pretend girl fiend. A downer except she will be paid an immense amount of money and a luxury car of her choice to keep. What a decision. The terms are OK - she would actually be working for his company in her field - but one restriction is no outside dating or sex with anyone during the term of the contract. That concerns her enough to talk about it, and Michael arranges for her to have a free membership at Pleasure Extraordinaire - where men are available for a fee to satisfy women. The complication is that one of the men who expresses interest (anonymous for both) turns out to be her new employer's son, Zane. I am torn about reading more of these, and do have some curiosity how this will turn out, but not willing to spend much money to find out. A conundrum. less
