review 1: This was a recommedation from Kathy's blog and I finally pulled it to the top of the TBR pile and read it. I am so glad that I finally did because it was really good. It was so much more than I expected and was feeling all sorts of emotions with this story. Family is there to support but then they can be your biggest obstacles in life. Grace was a wonderful character and the author brought her to life quirks and all. I love her relationship with her best friend Promise. Even Dillon coming back into her life may have eased some of the hurt away I think it stretched her out of her comfort zone a bit. this story had great characters, heartbreaking storyline, and a completely satisfying ending I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
review 2: This author has
... more a nice voice and I was definitely sucked into this story. However, while it is a romance, it also read a little more like women's fiction. I couldn't read a book like this all the time.I really enjoyed the heroine though - she is plain, frizzy hair, baggy clothes, ugly feet. The hero really falls for WHO she is on the inside and I like that. Also has fab supporting cast with big storylines - one that killed me. No, really.I had some issues with how the heroine's past was presented. Otherwise, a nice read. less
