review 1: A fun, quick read with nearly every sentence illustrated with doodles. Great book for reluctant readers but couldn't read it to class because of all the pictures. Story is very funny and fast paced, though his life is a little bit too perfect for me! I especially liked how it reminded me of a child's view of teachers and adults as people who often get in the way of what kids are really concerned with.
review 2: For a book totally below my age range this book is really enjoyable!The style of writing is fresh and interesting and tom's voice shines through bright and clear giving me many laughs. he has not annoyed me once throughout the whole serried. Which is pretty good for a character in my opinion.I would kill for a friend like Derek he is awesome and very con... moresiderate! And I dislike Marcus so much; the slimy weasel. He is so damn annoying! Makes a pretty good villain.Tom's teacher mr fullerman seems pretty cool also. Right balance of kind and strict.Thanks to my brother for lending me this series!-NG less
