review 1: A wonderful sexy story about a young woman who gets dumped (literally) in the Serengeti, by her fiancé, to die. Luckily the lion that comes across her is a shifter. While Jen is sure the Lion plans to eat her she is still to drugged up to do anything but pass out at this feet. Much to the lions surprise. Most tourist scream and run first. There is nothing for it but to take his prize back to his lair
review 2: I am on the fence on this one.I really loved the idea of a lion shifter. I mean, come on, king of the shifters. I loved that Jennifer was a real sized woman. I loved the back story as to how they meet. What was lacking was some of the connections. I would have loved to have read about what " claimed" entailed and how each of them felt about it.... more I also felt that one little bit in the epilogue went a little past what is usually considered "acceptable" without a disclaimer in the description.Will I read another from this series? Part of me really wants to and knows that series often get better as they progress. I was sent this when I signed up for a blog email list. It was one of four or five books they sent. For free, I am satisfied, I might have been disappointed if I paid full price. I am fooling myself. shifter lion! I will give the second book a try. less
