review 1: This was a fun book to read, light hearted and charming. A very determined Mateo (not a fan of the name to be honest) is a hunky but more importantly nice guy who’s interested in our very shy and nerdy Ed who just can’t believe (and so he ignores) that Mateo might want to be with him. They spend time gaming, making fish jokes and hanging out with M's brother at Mateo's bar, slowly getting to know one another which is nice. The part where Ed gets drunk was quite entertaining-thinking the beer fairy keeps refilling his drinks! A little contrived in places with Ed’s mumbling and idiosyncrasies (and the two are such opposites, I’m not sure what Mateo sees in Ed *shrug*), so I’d say this is a 3.5 for me but I plan to check out this author again! Entertai... morening!
review 2: Sexy and geek POWER UP.Seriously adorable Ed and ridiculously hot Mateo get it on, well not really at first. It's one embarrassing social misstep after another as Mateo ignores all the barriers Ed puts up and plows his way through. Two things really stuck with me, distracted me, made me think totally different things: first, the whole E thing--yeah, I'm thinking club time and second, why the fuck weren't they playing Smash Bros.?Full disclosure: I like geeks so my rating is geek biased ;) less

A slightly fanciful Jocks & Geeks 'there's someone for everyone' story. Light and fluffy escapism!
