review 1: I have never read an L.L. Collins book and I don’t know how I managed to miss this amazing author so far! This book had me ugly crying within in pages!! I can’t even describe the amount of emotion that this book brought out in me! Kayley had to go through the worst possible thing while pregnant! She is such a strong woman and with the help of her family and her best friend Emily she pulls through the darkest months of her life! A year goes by with Kayley alive, but never living when another tragic incident puts her in Ben’s path! Ben was never looking for love; he never expected to fall in love with not only a strong independent woman with a tragic past, but her daughter as well! This book is riddled with amazing quotes and so many toughing moments! I can’t wait ... moreto get more from the amazing secondary characters! I will be powering through this series in record time! BUY THIS BOOK!!! This will be a book I go back to frequently and re-read because it was that AMAZING!!Love and Books~Chelsea
review 2: I knew from the blurb that I would cry at some point during this book. What I didn't know was that I would start at page one and blubber continuously for five chapters!It was so horribly unfair and more than sad but Ms Collins had pulled me in so quickly that I had to keep reading. It takes talent to get me to invest in a character so quickly but Kayley was going through something that I have always feared.The ups and downs, the happiness and misery, the love making and hot sex kept me company through most of the rest of this great book.Most? Yes most. Ms Collins decided tissue sales weren't high enough so I finished the book as I started - weeping and sobbing.For me this book was cathartic. It was also well written and a class act for a first novel. less
