review 1: This is the second in this new series by L.L. Raand, and I was very impressed. I'm not usually into the vamp and werewolf thing, but Ms. Raand did a great job of making the supernatural understandable and accessable to the regular reader. The relationship between both the vampire detective and the reporter was nicely done, as was the devotion and love between the leader of the Were's and her Prima. I have got to go find the first book in the series ASAP!
review 2: The story of the Midnight Hunters continues in Blood Hunt and does not disappoint. If anything, the pace picks up as Jodi and her vampires join forces with Sylvan's Wolf Weres to find out who is kidnapping Were females for experimentation. While the war -- and several romantic pairings -- remain unres... moreolved, you still feel a sense of relief when the battle at hand is won, and a sense of anticipation as one of the main characters (naming her would spoil it) comes into her full powers. Can't wait for the next installment. less
