review 1: If you're looking for a quick, funny, and entertaining read, then Assault With A Deadly Glue Gun hits the mark. The plot is a bit implausible and the ending is predictable, but with such a quirky cast of characters, it really doesn't matter. Anastasia, a recent widow raising two teenagers, suddenly learns her husband was a closet gambler and died leaving them penniless and in debt to a loan shark. Love the cat'n'dog dynamics between the Anastasia's capitalist mother and her communist MIL. Ralph, the Shakespeare quoting parrot, seems as sane as anyone in the story.
review 2: I had to chuckle when I thought about a murder being committed using a crafter's glue gun. This story is about a recently widowed woman, her two sons and their 2 grandmothers who reside
... morein a very small home. One grandmother is a proud Communist and the other grandmother has been married several times with each of her husbands dying of tragic deaths. Anastasia is the poor unfortunate who is suspected in the murder. Read on as you try and discover who the actual murder is amongst a group of possible suspects. This is a cute cozy and a quick read. I found it relaxing and enjoyable. less
