review 1: I really enjoyed reading this for a before Christmas read. I thought the romantic aspect of the book was very tender, and I even wound up in tears during several parts of the book! Bryce reminded me of a modern day Scrooge with his "Bah Humbug!" attitude about the town's perpetual Christmas, but I liked how Sam wound up working her way into Bryce's heart and helping him to find the spirit of Christmas. Would definitely own a copy of this story!
review 2: Sweet book about a Marine injured in Afghanistan and a would be caterer who shows up about the same time in North Pole, Alaska to rebuild their lives after bad relationships. A really sweet book and filled with cute interactions that made me laugh out loud. As my Goodreads friends know, I love books about Ch... moreristmas, so this was my beginning to the 2013 Christmas book marathon. You will love Aunt Olive in this book, and her courage facing some really tough decisions was inspiring. less
