review 1: The Long Con was a great read. The heat between the two main characters was explosive and their albeit quick but deep felt love made my heart bounce around in my chest. The back stories were great and the story of the long con itself did not get in the way of the romantic workings between Bradley and Tony. At the end I was swiping tears off of my face for them. I couldn't put it down. On to the sequel!
review 2: Shallow plot with wooden characters who meet at a party, and have bathroom sex. Our main character talks to the mafia heir for something like 5 minutes before he knows the heir is a bottom, and starts calling him things like "little bitch", "whore", and "cock slut". The writing is awkward, and I felt disconnected from the characters and events. I would
... more have preferred more development of the mystery, and characters, but it seems like that was all a front for some "kinky" sex which felt forced, and stiff rather than sexy and hot. I tried, but I didn't have it in me to try to finish this. less
