review 1: This was a surprise find. I downloaded it on a whim, because it was free, not realising it was a 1.5. However, that didn't matter. It didn't read as if I was missing part of the story, and I've already added book 1 to my wish list.Late Night Snack is what it says on the tin. A nice tasty snack for you to bite into late at night when you need a short read to make you smile. This did all of that and more. It was brilliant, original, funny, sexy and an overall enjoyable read."This is police brutality!" had my giggling out loud to myself.The characters, the story, the overall execution of the plot were just fantastic. I will definitely read more of this author. I finished this wanting to read more of the author and the characters, and I got my wish. I will be reading book 1 ... moresoon.
review 2: More Harvey and Gabe! yaaay! Very short but still satisfying because it's my favourite Veggie vamp and his ex slayer sidekick. Still hot together, still doing the kinky role playing and still witty and funny! A bit longer and it would have been a 5 because I adore these guys but its really only bitesize! The thought of Harvey in his purple dress and white boots 'staking' his claim on Gabe at the club whilst he's trying to flush out a rogue vamp is why I love these two quirky characters! Oh and Jade makes an appearance dressed as Diana Ross... what more could you ask for?! Happy Macky! less
