review 1: This book is the second in a series. I liked the 1st book better but did enjoy this one. Most of the book takes place in Capri, Italy. It sounds beautiful and living there very nice. The story is about a Mother who leaves behind 2 young daughters and moves to Italy. She doesn't see them for 10 years. The oldest daughter goes to Italy to try and reconnect with their Mother and bring her back. There is a lot of drama and some not too believable.
review 2: This book bugged me. The main character is 16 and travels across the world by herself to meet the mother that abandoned her when she was young. Really? at 16? And the story was written from her perspective, but was at a totally different age level. There's no way a 16 year old is that mature. Add in
... morethe boyfriend and younger sister that fly around the world by themselves because they missed her, and you have a story I just couldn't buy into. less
