review 1: Ohhh, What did I enjoy 1)Lucian Bane- He could be MY Book Boyfriend ANY DAY!! 2)Not like any other D/s book I've Ever read 3)Our Heroine here is Tara and she's Down to earth and snarky, smart,quick on her feet- Very likeable and she enters this contest called DomWars for money to get her gma out of a nursing home and afford her proper care 4)The writing is SOOOO GOOD as it pulls you straight into this story from the beginning and has you rooting for these two characters that meet right off the street while waiting in line to enter this crazy contest, each with their own agenda -These two were so engaging and adorable and competitive right from the start, It was funny seeing it from Lucians Pov about how deep Tara was getting herself in from the start as she truly had No Ex... moreperience in BDSM but yet for any reader watching this competition go down she definetly can hold her own and you can truly feel how an why their desire builds and their chemistry grows although the only draw back is Tara's insecurities, but for good reason from her past its certainly hard for her to let down her walls to let Lucian fully in..But on his behalf he's definetly trying- I Love both povs here-Their Bantor-Their strengths -And as a team and winning round 2 here of DomWars I totally feel like I'm getting ready to see a train wreck in the making, and that they'll go too far BUT yet I can't stop,nor do I want to! #AddictedtoDomWars #LovinLucian *5 Stars*
review 2: This is my 5 star review for Dom Wars Round One by Lucian Bane.Dom Wars Round One is about Lucian Bane and Tara Reese on their quest to get past the first round of the Ultimate Dom competition. Lucian Bane is a natural Dom. He is hot, sexy, and confident in his abilities as a Dom even though he hasn’t been in the lifestyle for a while. Tara is beautiful, smart, strong, and in need of the prize money. What will happen when these two are teamed up with one another? Will one fail to dominate the competition and ruin it for both of them? Will other competitors come between the confident Dom and his determined partner?I LOVED this book; it is definitely unique to say the least. Lucian Bane gives us a smoking hot round one with every emotion attached to it. I laughed at the banter between Lucian and Tara. There were moments where you yourself could feel what the characters were feeling. I really look forward to where Mr. Bane will take us in round two and beyond. The writing was flawless and easy to enjoy. I read this one from start to finish in about two hours because I refused to put it down once I started it. If you like BDSM this one is a unique treat for you. I can only ask you one question, what are you waiting for? Pick this one up and get to reading!! If I thought I loved the first book, well this one just pushed me even further over the edge. Lucian is back and ready to show Miss Tara the type of Dom he can be. Tara is determined that she will not fail. All Tara wants is to get through the competition and win the money for her Gramma and all Lucian can think about is how he will break through Tara’s walls so they can be together outside of the competition. What will happen when one of them takes the points too seriously? Will Lucian and Tara be able to get through the next round with their hearts intact?When I finished Round One, I instantly jumped straight into Round Two because I couldn’t get enough. This is such a unique concept. The emotions are raw and strong. You feel for both Lucian and Tara because Mr. Bane has a way with words. The writing is again flawless with such dept. Please don’t even get me started on the scene where Tara showed her Dominant side…..shew, I think my Kindle is still smoking. If there was ever a time I needed a cold shower after reading a scene, well this one sure did do it for me. The BDSM scenes are so sexy and so true to style. I devoured this book in no time flat. I could have kept going and going. If you are looking for a great BDSM novel with a unique twist then this one is for you. less
