review 1: There's a lot to love about this book, and I did. I loved the character of Maxon especially, and Sunny and Maxon's love story, and the perspective on autism, and the science, and dialogue - witty but not forced. I really wanted to give this book four stars, but all the aspects didn't quite come together the way they hoped I would. I was slightly disappointed.I will definitely be reading everything Lydia Netzer writes, though.
review 2: Shine Shine Shine is a different book then I imagine and it was beautifully told. A story about how you are so afraid of what the world around you will say that you hide everything you are and become this perfect somebody that doesn't quite exist. It's a story that tells you that you really don't know what happens when your guest
... mores finally leave and you everybody goes homes and closes their front door and open a completely different world. It is a great book about looking at your life and finally loving everything that you are!!! less
