review 1: A well written and gripping account of the actions taken by pilots, FAA controllers and operations personnel, and the military as they tried to grapple with the unfolding horror of the September 11th attacks. This book gives us a look inside the cockpits and command and control centers of US airspace and provides a look into how many people overcame uncertainty, fear, and a lack of interoperable communications systems to regain control of the skies. I highly recommend this book.
review 2: Just finished this book - was very hard to put down even tho I knew the outcome. Never before thought about how the pilots who were flying that day felt or what they too were going through. And, the air traffic controllers - how frightening for them! - especially around New

Very well written. I found myself having similar feelings to those I had on 11 September.
