review 1: This was a really great book. Adam is a fine genetically enhanced secret soldier for the Government. When he meets his true love match, there lots of hot intense sex. Loren and Adam can't fight the draw they have towards the other. When the Program tells Adam they want him to start having kids, he refuses and tries to distance himself from Loren. But no matter how much they fight it, they are connected to the other. When kidnappings begin, the men start investigating. They know there is a mole within their organization feeding someone their plans. Both Adam and Loren discover family secrets.I can't say too much without giving the plot away. But as Loren and Adam try to figure out their relationship, the Program is trying to catch the kidnappers. I loved all of the soliders... more in the Program and look forward to their individual books. Adam is really a sweetheart and Loren and is a great female lead.This was a great story and I definitely recommend it.
review 2: Couldn't get past the first two chapters. **SPOILER**While the blurb was interesting and drew me into the story, I completely lost interest when I realized that the men would be pretty much forced into the breeding program (i.e. when a match is found for Adam, they are locked into a room together- one that has cameras- and they had been given drugged drinks to enhance their bonding). This is the type of behavior I would expect of the enemy, not of Adam's supervisor/allies. It smacked of rape, and I hated the idea that your friend/boss would condone the behavior. The obsessive desire of the military superiors' to breed the next generation of soldiers completely turned me off. less
