review 1: The Alexanders extended family is full of love, commitment, and loyalty. It is a family where everyone sticks together, no matter if member of the family is related by blood, or connected by love. I absolutely adore all the characters, they are real, genial, and charming with 'old-fashioned' values. Matt and Penny are dealing with real life issues, that are easy to relate to. The author gives a beautiful story of hope and love. The growth of the H/h is evident through the relationship, and following it is enjoyable and smooth. The heat level is absolutely perfect. M. Malone manages to show the intensity, passion, H/h's devotion to each other without writing one graphic sex scene after another. Oh, the story is hot, sensual, and steamy, but written beautifully without turn... moreing the book into soft porn.
review 2: I have read all the books in this series and have really enjoyed them all. Matt's story is like that of many military men, trying to get back to life and career after an injury. His career has been the thing that makes him feel like a man. Penny is the therapist he needs to help him get better, and she is his former babysitter. Penny wants to stay away from military men, she wants a stable life in one place. There attraction is hard for them both to deny. Great story will recommend to others. less
