review 1: Very unrealistic and odd. The set up of the mystery comes out of nowhere and just left me completely confused. I was convinced Steve was dreaming, until the plot continued down the odd road it was on. I was glad to have everything come together at the end. Overall it was an enjoyable read and reminded me a lot of the books by Lemony Snicker. I will probably continue with the series just to see where it goes.
review 2: Book on CD ~Steve has always wanted to be a detective, then he accidentally becomes a real one. When his teacher send him to the library for a research project, Steve discovers there's more to librarians than meets the eye. He ends up in the middle of a mystery that is pointing the bad guy finger at him! He has to hurriedly clear his name in time
