review 1: Sunshine Hunter (Susan Hunter Myster #1) is light and fluffy mystery. The main character Susan Hunter is floats along in life dealing with man trouble and gets tied up in a murder mystery at work. The characters are pretty squeaky clean except for the bad guy. I found myself wishing the plot would move along at a quicker pace. I'm more of a fan of sassier and grittier mysterys but if you are looking for a cute beach read with a twist of mystery this is a good read.
review 2: You have to take it for what's it's worth...this genre of Chic Lit is always going to be a bit silly, unrealistic, and over the top and usually very predictable...also usually frought with grammatical errors and punctuation issues...and often times without really good character developmen... moret. As such, I rate this genre with that in mind and rate on the sheer entertainment value and ability to quickly read it. This fit the bill from that perspective. I enjoyed it for all the silliness and unreasonableness it brought. less
