review 1: This book was so not what I thought it was going to be about. I hadn't realized this was connected to Come Undone till about two pages in. It was kinda cool to read about what Dani's roommate was off doing while Dani was busy capturing the heart of Xane. But for the most part this book was just a whole lot of sex with a little dialogue and some backstory line thrown in, so the characters had a reason to have sex. Hmmm...I'm still kinda torn over whether or not I actually liked it. But if you're looking for something with a lot unadulterated sex this is the book for you.
review 2: So, this was a quick read and I had to think about it before I reviewed. There was actually a bit of story developing in between all the sex, which was interesting and I am giving t... morehis series the benefit of the doubt as the first book. Once I thought about it I realized I knew more about the band than I initially gave Ellis credit for, so that's a plus. I also started to get really sick of repeating the same few facts we know about Ash, but we never moved into the details. I wanted to know more about Gina because apparently she was a game changer for Ash, but we never got to know her, which was sad. Other things in the book were somewhat cliche, but I am giving this 4 stars for HOPE! I hope this series turns into what it has the potential to be. I hope the remainder of the books have more depth and balance. less
