review 1: Gosh this book was painful. From the blurb it sounded like it could be a decent book, but I was wrong. I feel like there is something missing from the book always. I could see what the author wanted to do, but the book wasn't developed enough. Everything was too quick, too choppy; it was missing the extra pieces to make the story. I can't believe in this couple that has no real growth to it. They go through all the stages of a couple, but it seriously feels like they are jumping to each stage. I just don't feel the connection and I do not believe they would last. Everything moves too fast to me.
review 2: My true rating is 2.5 Stars.Ok let's start by saying I really wanted to love this... Once I heard about it and read the blurb I was hooked. I couldn't stop
... morethinking about it and ended up buying it and moving it to the top of my to read list... In the end I was disappointed but there was definitely a lot of potential here. Unfortunately there were a few big issues I had with this book:1. The writing style here just didn't jive for me. For most of the book it felt less like a story and more like a diary or journal of the stuff she did or they did? I do this, then we did this, then this happened and so on... This really affected the flow of the story for me and prevented me from making early connections with the hero (Ryder) & heroine (Ella). Although the dialogue was good and I enjoyed the banter between Ella & Ryder, for me it wasn't enough to help the flow of the story. 2. I unfortunately didn't find a connection with Ella and didn't really like her till about 70% in... I found her to be too manic with her feelings for Ryder... They were all over the place, so she seemed either really naïve and clueless or just bitchy at times. 3. I also had some issues with the end and how it jumped from the climax to 4 months later... You do get most of the story as remembered by Ryder in the epilogue, and although I have to say that was the best part of the book, that didn't work for me and I felt things were left out...4. Finally just a heads up for those who have insta-love issues this was really really insta...Now 2.5 stars in my opinion means that this was an ok book (it was ok, but it could have been great). For me this had tons of potential! It was very fast paced, full of action, suspense and serious steam. The plot was intriguing and I did need to finish to know what would happen. So my issues aside I recommend you read the other reviews and judge for yourself if you want to read this. I know there was enough potential here that I will give this author another try ;) less

Too fast. He sees her. He falls In love. He's also not very alpha. He's more Charlie. Or echo.
