review 1: Something off. The pretending agreement. They did good before. Then baaaaaam, suddenly pretend around other people. And there is this unconsistent fact. At labor, it was mentioned that Andrew eyes is BLUE. In phrase "dark hair from his mother and blue eyes from me". Then after that, his eyes mentioned as GREEN in phrase "he is resembling his mother, from the black raven hair to green eyes.". SO ? ANY EXPLAINATION? ohhh and the editing, please notice, sometimes Briana is being called as Bri and other time as Bree. SO? WHICH ONE?Overall, the Storm Series is reminding me of Crossfire Series blended with The Boss Series and Spiral of Bliss Series. This series is one of those which built based on the strong story. The characters, especially MC, are blah blah. Elizabeth is rescu... moreing this series from the failure in Hero character. Gabriel is one of the most annoying and jerk Hero all the time. I hate him, along with Hero from Katy Evan's Real. Gabriel is so clueless, stuborn, selfish, overpridefull. If not for the stories, i'm sure i only read the first book in series. Then, there are a lot interesting character other the MCs who make me stay in reading till the end. I'd love to read Edward, Jake-Briana, Royce, and Sebastian Payne, even Lady Malisande spin off. These character are far more loveable than Gabriel Storm. The vocabulary used during conversation in London and in DC were different. In London there are a lot strange medieval very british-like word that i barely grasp the meaning without looking into vocabs. In DC, a lot every day conversational word used. And this detail, for me is awesome! The author not only telling us the change in place trough words, but also through the change of atmosphere in conversation.
review 2: What the hell happened?! This blew. How the hell did she go from loving him to turning into "I'm not the marrying kind" but I'm happy to give up my kid as long as I can be the world's worst mother and pop in occasionally to see how my kid but remind him how much I don't want him.so glad being a lawyer (where she's now a joke) is more important. This seriously just pissed me off and I gave up after the wedding where it was more than obvious he loves her and she's just content to keep it to a contractual agreement to avoid the bastard label for her son. less
