review 1: Growing intimacy within marriage has never been so delicious.I love reading about Elizabeth and Gabriel. This is the third book in a series that held me captivated for all three novels. Magda Alexander is a master at writing romantic tension. She's thrown in plenty of danger and family drama too.In this installment in Alexander's Storm Damages series, billionaire Gabriel Storm has driven his wife away with his controlling ways. She is an American law student who needs her independence. She puts distance between her and Gabriel, but there's one person who keeps bringing them together, their infant son, Andrew.Touching scenes mixed with plenty of heat make this a quick, satisfing read I highly recommend to contemporary romance fans. You Gotta Read Storm Redemption and the ot... moreher books in the Storm Damages Series as well.
review 2: This book is amazing!!!! I absolutely loved it. I couldn't put it down once I started. It drew me in and I never wanted to leave. This was a great conclusion to Gabriel and Elizabeth's story. It starts right where the last one left off and continues from there. There are plenty of twists and turns and ups and downs in this story. People are still trying to hurt Gabriel, Elizabeth and Andrew but this time it is coming from someplace else. Having read the two previous books about Gabriel and Elizabeth, I already knew the characters and was completely engaged from the first word of the story. I loved how this one started right where the last one left off. In this installment we see Gabriel and Elizabeth start to truly work out their problems, not just the surface ones but the underlying ones. I really liked the fact that this happens. Gabriel and Elizabeth and still the same characters that you fall in love with in the previous books as they change for the better. They finally start to learn how to compromise and be a couple together. This story is just as hot as the others. One thing that they don't need to improve on is their sex life. It's where they have always been able to come together and that stays the same. You see Elizabeth and Gabriel struggle to not just rely on that to save their marriage but instead to build beside it and on it. Elizabeth almost walks out and leaves Gabriel again but decides that she is not leaving her son and that she wants to try and save her marriage with Gabriel. She wants to go back and date since they jumped into everything else so fast and kinda forgot that part of the relationship. Gabriel doesn't get it but he doesn't want to lose Elizabeth and so is definitely willing to do it. It is interesting to see how Gabriel changes and how it helps to calm some of Elizabeth's doubts, especially her self-doubts. Communication is huge in this story and the miscommunication and refusing to say something makes me want to knock some sense into both Gabriel and Elizabeth throughout the story but they finally learn how to do it. And on top of trying to save their marriage and learn all this new stuff they also have to deal with threats from a new corner, one they don't see coming at first. It's a nice little twist to the story. I also love the secondary characters. I can't wait for more of them. They are written so well and I have to come to love them and want their story through all through of Elizabeth's and Gabriel's stories. Jake and Brianna are fabulous and I can't wait to read their story. I didn't get as much of them as I would have liked but their story is next and I can't wait for it. Brianna is hilarious and I love how she just lays into Gabriel when she believes he is wrong. I can't wait to get to know Edward more and find out his story and of course I want Royce's story. I love this series and I can't wait to be able to return to it. This is the third book in the Storm Damages Trilogy. I recommend reading the first two books in the series to be able to fully understand what is going on and to fully enjoy the book. Each book builds on the previous one as Gabriel and Elizabeth progress and overcome the hurdles in and to their relationship. I received this book in return for an honest review. less
