review 1: I read this story with hope, as the ratings and the reviews were good. Some reviewers even said that the story was hardcore, but in facts, two-thirds of the story are only descriptions of sex scenes. For the rest, from my point of view, there is nothing really hardcore. If you want hardcore, read "The Good Sadist" or "The Story of Tol". We can therefore say that I was disappointed with "Simon and Sir".
review 2: While not hardcore BDSM, it is quite nice BDSM. No sugar-kink, and the first scene is a very satisfactory long multi-chapter one. Structurally it has some problems e.g. wasted space with an abandoned side-plot that ends up simply frustrating the reader (the author instead developed this into a separate story, so you can always find that if you liked whe... morere Jeremy's character was going).I'm not sure if it is an abandoned WIP, or if the author simply chose to end at an natural pause (I think this option), and didn't bother to wrap it up emotionally, but it is not a complete 'story'. Still, very enjoyable while it lasts. less
