review 1: I finished this two days ago but couldn't figure out how to review it. First of all, I would give Malala and her story 5 stars plus. Her courage and conviction are amazing and I want everyone to know her story. It's hard to separate that from the book itself -- some parts just seemed off. Malala obviously has such passion for educating girls and women, and it doesn't necessarily come through in the book.
review 2: This is an inspirational story about a Pakistani girl standing up for what she believes in and her impact on the world. She truly is an amazing person. There is no doubt she has faced many tough challenges in life, however the writing in the book felt rushed. In some instances I had a hard time following the disjointed narrative.
