review 1: I waited a little while to read this because it was from Cas's POV and companion novel to A Terrible Love, so I thought it was the same story just his side. But this was so different then A Terrible Love. To me it was a little more intense and emotional because of Cas's connection to the case.It covered important parts and cleared some things up from the first book. Then there are the chapters were we got inside Thad's head which was just creepy and interesting. It added so much insight to the story.
review 2: Dear holy goodness!!! I am usually a fan of these two book-same story-different perspective series, but this perspective/sequel SUCKED!!!! Little slipups like Jess constantly is calling Devin Castile 'Cas' but she doesnt know he wants to be called that un
... moretil after they sleep together. Oh and then there is the dialogue variations--I understand the omission of different part due to lack of listening or what have you but in this book there are whole conversations between Jess and Cas that never happened in the first book. Before yall say but maybe it was a point not told in the first story, no it was added dialogue in the middle of conversations or places where Jess was embarrassed to reply so never did until magically she decided to speak her mind in the second book. Grrrrrrr. Unhappy. Very unhappy. less

Good but not as good as A Terrible Love. I always like to see the other POV but this was just ok.
