review 1: I write this review with a warning that if you are not comfortable with rape scenes, then this series may not be for you.After getting past some of the intense scenes, the story line was not actually bad. The vampires are trying to preserve their race. And the way this can happen is if they find females of Druid ancestry, to breed with them. Good premise, but the story just kind of fizzled out for me. It seemed like the Druid babes were either being abducted by other vampire factions (who consider them quite the sexual treat) being rescued and abducted again. I was also subjected to way too many aggressive, sexual intrusions from multiple vampires, as apparently contact with these vampires brought out the Druid females’ inner sluttiness.
review 2: With ... morea dark twist on the usual vampire myths, this collection of books focuses on the Reapers need to find Breeders, and the relationships that are forged between the two. Easy to read and written in a fashion that allows the reader to keep turning the pages the flow of the plot and interactions between characters make this collect much more than erotic fiction. Warning, bated breath and emotional involvement will result from reading. less
